Starting A Business: The idea!
Tip 1: Always be open minded, even when its your parents telling you something, 99% of the time they will be correct.
Tip 2: Share your idea, you never know who may be able to help you. It will also give you a different perspective on your idea.
Tip 3: Be patient, like the old saying, good things come to those who wait. Youll develop that great idea eventually.
Tip 4: Protect your idea as heavily and as soon as you can.
Starting A Business: Creating your logo!
Tip 1: Always get a quote from a variety of design companies when looking at getting a logo designed and ask what services they offer alongside the design work.
Tip 2: Be helpful, come up with a design brief to help the design company understand what your business is.
Tip 3: Set up a time to meet, don’t just send in your design brief, discussing the brief will get any questions answered and anything not understandable made clear.
Marketing: Value Based Pricing
Tip 1: Always look for ways to increase value, the higher something is valued, the higher the price you can charge.
Tip 2: For pricing, research what people are willing to pay not what you want them to pay.
Tip 3: Keep surveying people even after your product has been launched, it will allow you to adapt your prices to economic and demographic changes.
Starting A Business: Being Young!
Tip 1: Believe in yourself, Others will soon follow.
Tip 2: Be proactive, I cannot stress this enough, being proactive means you get things done, and people like when things get done.
Tip 3: Do your research, Show that you know what you are talking about, and that you understand your market, your business environment and your businesses strengths and weaknesses
